Cleanliness was excellent, including bed linen and shower room. The hotel had a balcony with a view of the main street. The location in the Harz mountains was perfect for walking.
Couldn't fault.

The owner of the hotel was very friendly and gave us a map to explore the town. The breakfast was good and the rooms were very clean, despite being a bit old-fashioned. The view from the balcony overlooking the street was lovely. The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants and beautiful scenery.
The hotel could definitely use some updating. The decor felt old and tired.

The hotel in the beautiful Harz mountains provided a warm welcome and a helpful walking map, ensuring a delightful exploration of the surrounding countryside. the clean and cozy room offered a comfortable bed with crisp linens and a balcony overlooking the lively main street. the shower room, though aged, was impeccably clean and functional.
The hotel's overall appearance was a bit shabby.

The lady owner was a sweetheart, giving us a handy walking map and being very welcoming. We loved having a balcony overlooking the vibrant main street, perfect for people-watching. the area surrounding the hotel was a nature lover's paradise, with plenty of picturesque countryside for romantic strolls.
The hotel itself was a bit shabby, but at least it was squeaky clean. the bed in our room was a bit odd, with two single mattresses on a double base, but the linen was fresh and clean.
